disappearing darkness light
from the Sun keeps turning
the gloom and solitude of night
into what we've been yearning

visions of what's all around
seeing what we're touching
feeling warmth where we are found,
feeling very much in

the embrace of a nearby star,
a plasma discharge glowing,
powered by forces from afar,
by Birkeland currents flowing,

as disappearing darkness light
illuminates whenever
the solitude and gloom of night
seem to last forever

energizing all around
stimulating living
in air, on earth, underground,
sun light keeps on giving...
